New Haven, Connecticut's Union Station is what connects the small city to New York City. Along the station's southern end is an old lot that is used mostly for railway storage. Imagining the lot for reuse as a public recreation site, the design focused on the razor-edge that separates the neglected areas of New Haven from the manicured areas.
