was born in Vietnam, raised in Portland, Oregon, studied painting and engineering at Dartmouth College, received a Masters in Architecture from Yale University, and has worked in the offices of Rick Joy, Steven Holl, and Richard Meier. He now works for Diller Scofidio + Renfro.
