The design for a shoe wall for a luxury shoe retailer took as its source of inspiration the constraints and requirements of the project. The wall was to span 40 feet, display 100 shoes, and seat 10 people. Those numbers became the generators for the form of the wall.

By organizing the requirements into graphs, spline curves were generated. Those curves were then computationally manipulated in a three-dimensional modeling program to generate a form capable of displaying shoes.
